Focus Multimedia Helps HUD Understand US Hispanic Market.

Focus Multimedia announced its selection as part of a team that will conduct research and formulate a marketing strategy for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The internet solutions firm will join Voices, Inc. and National Technologies, Inc., to assist HUD in developing methods to better serve the US Hispanic community by raising awareness of HUD’s home buying programs and services.

The initial research will identify Latinos’ primary issues and concerns with home buying, and create a knowledge base of demographics, attitudes and behaviors. The results of this research will form the basis for the development of an integrated marketing campaign that communicates the features and benefits of HUD’s comprehensive programs and services for home buyers.

Through its Web site (www.hud.gov) and community learning centers, HUD offers a variety of resources to assist American families buy, sell and rent homes, obtain mortgages, and be informed consumers. The Department seeks to increase homeownership, address homelessness, provide community grants, and engage in community economic development.
