Ford Sponsors ‘Mi Negocio’ @ Fox Sports en Español.

Fox Sports en Español has received a sponsorship investment from the Ford Motor Company as part of the automaker’s recent campaign to promote its new Spanish-language web site called Mi Negocio (My Business) located at http://www.ford.com/go/minegocio . As the first of its kind, the hub offers a combination of online services and community outreach in key Hispanic markets, all designed to help Hispanic entrepreneurs start their own businesses. Fox Sports en Español has built a custom-designed business segment for Ford that is now featured during Diario Fox Sports, the channel’s nightly sports news program. Ford’s business segment began airing this past April.
Ford, the leading automotive brand purchased among the Hispanic population with 15.5% of the market, has been a featured advertiser on Fox Sports en Español since 2000, sponsoring a combination of live events and original sports programming. Diario Fox Sports is broadcast live into the U.S. from the channel’s news studio in Mexico and since its launch last February has become one of the channel’s top-rated programs.
“Ford has demonstrated its commitment to reach one of the fastest growing consumer markets in the U.S. by investing in media that are programmed to reach the demos it is targeting,” said Tom Maney, Senior Vice President of Advertising Sales for Fox Sports en Español.
