Fostering Hispanic Entertainment Industry.

The Latin Business Association (LBA) in conjunction with El Premio de la Gente, Latin Music Fan Awards are announcing their partnership to create the perfect environment to foster further growth in the Latino business community: business and music packed into one fabulous week in Los Angeles. The LBA National Latino Business Expo to be held October 14-15 at the Los Angeles Convention Center will be kicked-off in grand style with El Premio de la Gente, Latin Music Fan Awards on Thursday, October 13 at The Forum in Los Angeles. “What a wonderful way to start our Expo,” said LBA Board Chairman Ray Durazo. “By joining with El Premio de la Gente, we celebrate Latino culture and the tremendous strides made by Latino artists and Latino record companies.”

This exciting partnership presents opportunities to the new generation of Latinos to network and mingle with successful Latino business owners and learn from their experiences. The growing popularity of Latin artists has been the key to its acceptance in Latino and mainstream venues, and this proves that the Hispanic entertainment industry is becoming a major force.

“As a Latino business owner, I understand how the Latino Business Association strengthens the opportunities available to Latino businesses. This partnership reflects the reach and breadth of the Hispanic business community,” said Luis Medina, executive producer and founder of El Premio de la Gente. “Combining our celebration of Latino music and the National Latino Business Expo’s trumpeting of Hispanic business will make LBA Week truly memorable. Salud!”
