Fox Sports World Español Honors 31 Days Of The World Cup.

Fox Sports World and Fox Sports World Español will each dedicate more than 100 hours of original programming specific to the highly anticipated 2002 FIFA World Cup on Ticket to Asia and Boleto a Asia, respectively, beginning May 31. Each network will offer two daily segments throughout June, and both networks will present a special two-hour tournament preview on May 30. The preview shows will broadcast at 6:00 p.m. ET on Fox Sports World, and at 8:00 p.m. ET on Fox Sports World Español.

Ticket to Asia begins broadcasting daily at 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. ET on May 31 and will be hosted by Fox Sports World anchors Max Bretos, Chris Miles and Giles Elliot, with daily reports from correspondent Nick Webster in Korea and Japan. Fox Sports World Español will also start televising two daily segments of Boleto a Asia on May 31 at 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. ET. The Spanish network’s panel of experts, Samuel Jacobo, Luís Rodríguez and Hector Pizarro, will tackle the issues of the day, discuss the players to watch and debate team strategies for this year’s World Cup.

The shows will be complemented by special reporting from each network’s own newscasts. Fox Sports World will include Sky News and two Sky Sports News segments following Ticket to Asia, daily at 8:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. ET. Fox Sports World Español will serve up Fox Sports Noticias from Argentina at 10:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Saturday, and Score Final from Mexico on Sundays, also at 10:00 p.m.
