Galavisión calling all aspiring journalists.

Galavisión announced open auditions for “Misión: Reportar” (Mission: Reporter). Viewers will now have the opportunity to try-out in person in Miami, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago and New York.

“Due to overwhelming requests, we have decided to reach out to our viewers and meet them live and in person in key markets around the country,” said Joanne Lynch, Galavisión Senior Vice President and General Manager. “We are excited to bring this opportunity to our viewers and want to give them the greatest chance to participate.”

“Misión: Reportar” will feature 10 contestants from all over the country, competing for a once in a lifetime opportunity to work as a reporter for Univision, TeleFutura, and Galavisión alongside the most respected journalists on Spanish-language television.

Carmen Dominicci, the award winning Puerto Rican news reporter and anchor, with her own distinct journalistic style, will host the eagerly anticipated new reality show. Celebrity judges will evaluate and eliminate contestants throughout the competition based on their reporting abilities. Two finalists will compete in the live grand finale, where viewers will be able to vote for their favorite online and via text messages.

Viewers who cannot make the live auditions can still submit audition tapes. Further details and entry information are available online at Univision.com (Uniclave: Misión).
