Ginarte selects d expósito & Partners as its AOR.

The brand’s name is derived from its founder-president José A. Ginarte, Esq., a Cuban-born, U.S.-educated attorney-at-law. The entity’s LLP name is Ginarte O’Dwyer González Gallardo & Winograd, LLP. The firm started as a small office in 1982 and has expanded to have outposts in New York City, Newark, Elizabeth, Union City, Clifton, and Perth Amboy, New Jersey.

“We have grown to be the largest Hispanic-owned law firm in the country,” said Mr. Ginarte, “and at this moment we see the need of assigning our communication efforts to an advertising and marketing agency of the caliber of d expósito & Partners.”

“The recognition of the brand Ginarte is up there with possibly two or three other Hispanic-owned brands in the Eastern region,” said Fernando Fernández, partner/chief client services director at d expósito & Partners. “Their legal victories in the area of labor laws and their successful defense of undocumented workers have brought nationwide media attention to the Ginarte name.”

Ginarte and d expósito & Partners started their relationship with a successful first effort last year. As the agency becomes Ginarte’s A.O.R., a full advertising campaign hits the market today. This campaign, “Ginarte’s Angels,” operates on the brand’s goodwill with consumers, and the tongue-in-cheek premise, “As if fallen from the sky.”

Television, where Ginarte is known for placing the bulk of its advertising budget, and out-of-home will be part of the Tri-State effort. Additionally, PSA spots will inform consumers about their rights, including workers without legal status who are victims of labor abuse or injuries suffered in work-related accidents.
