Univision Communications Inc. announced that Charles O. Glenn, Senior Vice President of Communications, Univision Online, has been named Vice President, Public Relations, Univision Communications.

He will remain based in Los Angeles and will report to Robert V. Cahill, Vice Chairman, Univision Communications.

Most recently, Glenn was Senior Vice President of Communications for Univision Online, where he managed public relations and marketing communications since the division’s launch in September 2000.

“With more than four decades of experience in the entertainment business, Charles is one of the industry’s leading communications executives,” said A. Jerrold Perenchio, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Univision Communications. “He has done an outstanding job with Univision Online, which is now the premier Spanish-language website in the U.S., reaching over 80% of the U.S. Hispanic population. We are fortunate to have his expertise as we continue to build Univision for the future.”
