A stated by Angela Spencer Ford – GlobalHUE – MCM / Vice President of PR in an e-mail to us:
In regard to the article “GlobalHue accused of overbilling Bermuda Account – Agency Plays Race Card” which appeared on your website today, (courtesy of BNET.com) we would like to address a point of clarity.
The Bermuda Department of Tourism is confident in our abilities and has determined that GlobalHue didn’t do anything inappropriate, the allegations were strictly motivated by a party trying to discredit the existing Bermuda ruling party.
In fact, Bermuda Department of Tourism just renewed GlobalHue’s contract for 2 years as a result of our outstanding performance over the past three years, which was announced on May 22, 2009. Please see attached press release for more details.
GlobalHue recognizes each client’s unique culture and business dynamics. With the Bermuda Department of Tourism, the political climate is pivotal to understanding the fabric of Bermuda and the Bermuda Department of Tourism. The political party not in power always tries to discredit the ruling party, who selected us, which again was the origin of the allegations against GlobalHue.
