Gold & Silver for K. Fernandez & Associates.

K. Fernandez & Associates announced that they are recipients of multiple Gold and Silver Awards for its broadcast creative work on the Humane Society SPCA of Bexar County from the Davey Awards.. The Agency also received Awards of Distinction from The Communicator Awards international audio competition.

“Receiving these international advertising, marketing and audio awards is such exciting news for our creative team, the agency as a whole and of course our production partners, Bauhaus Media Group and New Age Recordings,” says President and CEO, Karla Fernandez Parker. “We had a great year in 2006 with numerous new account wins, existing business expansion, adding staff and then having to move to a much larger office location. The Davey Awards, MarCom Creative Awards, Service Industry Advertising Awards, along with The Communicator Awards wins jump-start 2007 to what we expect to be another exciting year for the Agency.”

K. Fernandez & Associates won one MarCom Creative Gold Award for its TV campaign; “Be Responsible” and “Spay/Neuter”, TV spots produced pro-bono for The Humane Society SPCA of Bexar County. MarCom Creative Awards also awarded an Honorable Mention for the companion radio spots “Be Responsible” and “ID Tags.” The Service Industry Advertising Awards awarded the Agency two Gold Awards for its “Be Responsible” TV and Radio spots. The Agency also won four Silver Davey Awards for the same TV and radio spots and two Awards of Distinction were won from The Communicator Awards, again for the same radio spots.

Mid-2006, K. Fernandez & Associates, along with San Antonio based production companies, Bauhaus Media Group and New Age Recordings, donated time and talent of approximately $150,000 to produce the TV and Radio public service announcements for The Humane Society SPCA of Bexar County. The spots were produced in Spanish and English with messages and visuals conveyed through humor in order to demonstrate the need for pet owners to be responsible for their pets.
