Gómez named SVP – Cross-Cultural Marketing at Geometry

Geometry appointed Amy Gómez as the new North American Senior Vice President, Cross-Cultural Marketing.

 

Amy joins the agency with 20 years of experience as a strategist and client partner helping Fortune 500 clients communicate effectively with diverse consumers. She has led integrated Hispanic, African American and LGBT marketing initiatives (digital, mobile, print, content marketing, PR and experiential) that accelerate clients’ reach and impact. During her impressive trajectory, she has developed integrated Hispanic programs for clients including HBO, Citibank, and the American Heart Association, as well as led cross-platform initiatives for Pfizer, Amtrak and Progressive Insurance. Amy holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Medieval Literature specializing in Italian, has studied in Guadalajara, México, Córdoba, Argentina, Avignon, France and Bologna & Florence, Italy, and has traveled to over 30 countries, bringing a global perspective to the role.

 

Amy will work in unison with the existing in-house team consisting of Ricardo Trejo and Mafe VillasBoas in the New York Office. The Cross-Cultural marketing practice for Geometry North America will feed cultural expertise and insights into existing client teams and new business opportunities. It will also provide an educational platform on cross-cultural consumers that empowers the agency’s teams to understand and leverage the enormous client opportunity represented by this demographic.

Amy will represent Geometry externally to provide thought-leadership to the industry that reflects the agencies’ unique perspective at the intersection of world-class brand activation expertise and industry-leading cross-cultural strategy and execution.
