Gomez – VP Government Relations @ Univision.

Univision Communications Inc. announced that Bert Gomez has been appointed Vice President, Government Relations, effective immediately. Gomez will be based in Washington DC and will report to Cesar Conde, Executive Vice President, Chief Strategy Officer, Univision Communications Inc.

In this new position, Gomez will serve as Univision’s in-house lobbyist. His responsibilities will include managing political relations in Congress and at the State level, monitoring legislation, managing political contributions, and coordinating efforts to address issues important to the company. Gomez first became involved with Univision earlier this year in efforts to educate political campaigns on the importance of the Hispanic vote, and he will continue in this capacity as well.

“Bert’s extensive government relations experience, corporate affairs background, and exceptional work on behalf of the Hispanic community make him the ideal person to lead Univision’s government relations efforts,” said Conde.
