Danielle Gonzales has been promoted to Vice President of Tapestry in Chicago.
As Vice President of Tapestry, the multicultural division of Starcom Media Vest Group (SMG), Ms. Gonzales will be expanding the department into a cutting-edge multicultural unit and responsible for new business development.
Singled out as one of the industry’s rising stars, Ms. Gonzales pushes the limits in conventional media thinking. Ms. Gonzales generates fresh thinking for a roster of global accounts such as Disneyland, Miller, Coca Cola, Walt Disney World and Kellogg. She received a silver Effie in 2001 for her contributions to the Kellogg Frosted Flakes business. In 2001, Ms. Gonzales took home two honors for plans of the year awarded by the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies.
She began her career at SMG on the Philip Morris account in the general market. Ms. Gonzales sat on the team that created the square format in out-of-home billboards – a visible format across the U.S.
Danielle has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas and an MBA from Kellogg.
