July 26, 2011
The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) is seeking proposals from qualified digital marketing agencies to join forces in continuing its mission of leading edge digital promotion of Greater Miami and the Beaches to the world.
The digital agency of record’s responsibilities will include digital strategic development, media planning and buying, web development and digital analysis. Additionally, the GMCVB is also seeking specialty digital services including search, mobile and social marketing. All of these functions might be carried out by the main agency, or a specialized digital agency hired to perform them. In this case, their management would fall under the responsibility of the digital agency of record.
Candidates should be able to show relevant and deep expertise in creating effective integrated multi-channel digital strategies and also should be able to demonstrate experience working with high-level travel and leisure brands. They should be strategic, creative and passionate in supporting the GMCVB mission of bringing more travelers from around the world to experience Greater Miami’s sun-drenched beaches, accommodations, attractions, dining, art and culture, shopping, trendsetting nightlife and tropical-cosmopolitan setting.
Interested agencies may bid on parts of the RFP, the entire RFP or both. The GMCVB’s proposal request is online now at http://www.miamiandbeaches.com/digitalrfp>. Statements of Interest are due by September 6, 2011 with proposals to follow due on September 19, 2011.
