Grupo Radio Centro (GRC) announced the appointment of radio executive Bill Shadorf as Executive Vice President/General Manager. Based in Los Angeles, Shadorf will lead all sales and operations for Grupo Radio Centro and report directly to GRC President and CEO Francisco Aguirre.
“Bill’s wealth of knowledge of the Hispanic community and unparalleled industry experience makes him the perfect fit for Grupo Radio Centro,” stated Aguirre.

“I am thrilled and proud to take on this role,” said Shadorf. “Grupo Radio Centro, the top radio broadcaster in Mexico, now has grown its competitive position while continuing to serve and advocate for Los Angeles’ influential Hispanic community. I’m excited to lead a company with such tremendous growth potential and look forward to continuing to work with such an exceptional team.”

Also joining Grupo Radio Centro’s executive team is Zev Levy as vice president, Director of Sales for Radio Centro 93.9 FM (KXOS-FM). Levy will oversee all aspects of sales for the station, including Interactive and Entertainment.

Shadorf’s dynamic executive career includes top executive positions as Vice President General Manager/West Coast Market Manager for Spanish Broadcasting Systems and Vice President of Corporate Sales at Univision Radio, while Levy’s experience includes serving as Director of Sales for KLAX 97.9FM “La Raza” and KXOL 96.3FM “Latino.”

Coincidentally, at Grupo Radio Centro, Shadorf will reunite with his longtime friend and top radio personality Ricardo “El Mandril” Sanchez, host of Radio Centro 93.9’s morning show El Show del Mandril. As El Mandril, Sanchez continues to create an exclusive radio format as an outlet for millions of Hispanic immigrants who access Mandril’s show as a forum to voice their opinions and express their thoughts.
