cruz/kravetz: IDEAS has been named by H&R Block as its Hispanic agency of record. The agency will be responsible for the Kansas City-based financial services firm’s Hispanic-targeted advertising. Work on the account will primarily include television and direct response ads.
The new relationship will be effective May 1, 2003, with the first ads likely to break in July.
“We bring to H&R Block our knowledge of the U.S. Hispanic consumer along with our proven results in meeting branding and sales objectives,” said Carl Kravetz, CEO and Chief Strategic Officer of the agency. “We will be working with H&R Block on strategic planning, media planning and creative for 2004, building on the financial service company’s past success in this market.”
