Fox Pan American Sports announced the appointment of Glenn Harris to the newly created position of executive director. Based in Coral Springs, Florida, Harris will be responsible for managing all aspects of Premios Fox Sports, ranging from budget development, production and event logistics, to marketing, advertising and sponsorship sales. He will report directly to Jim Ganley of Fox Pan American Sports.

A seasoned and well-rounded marketing executive with 17 years of experience in sales, brand management, online and interactive communications, field and event marketing, media and public relations, Harris joins Fox Pan American Sports from Discovery Networks’ U.S. Hispanic Group where he was director of marketing and communications overseeing all consumer, affiliate and advertising sales marketing, communications and public relations. He was previously a senior manager of international television and marketing partnerships for the National Basketball Association focusing on the league’s initiatives in Latin America, the Caribbean and US Hispanic market. In addition to working with the NBA, Harris previously supervised a variety of branded sports properties while working at Bates USA including “Boxeo Miller,” a boxing program for Miller Brewing Company targeting Hispanic consumers.
