Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation’s Los Angeles (KLVE 107.5 FM, KSCA 101.9 FM, KRCD/CV 103.9 FM, 98.3 FM, KTNQ 1020 AM) announced the performance of international superstar Enrique Iglesias, who has just been added to the outstanding lineup of top Latin artists at Veranazo 2002 – El Concierto.
On August 3rd, 2002, Veranazo – El Concierto will make history in Los Angeles, as the first Latin music concert to ever take place at Dodger Stadium. In addition, Veranazo – El Concierto will be the largest Latin concert in the United States, (expected attendance of 50,000) as well as the most prestigious event, with unprecedented Latin talent to ever appear together on one stage for one night only. Veranazo 2002 hosted by HBC-LA, and presented by Univision Canal 34, Telefutura Canal 46, and Sears, will feature performances by the biggest and brightest stars in Latin music. Headlining the event will be legendary composer and singer, Juan Gabriel. Since the 1970’s Juan Gabriel has sold over 40,000,000 albums. In addition, this star-studded event will feature the top artists in the various genres of Spanish music (Regional, Rock, Pop, etc.) including: Joan Sebastian, Los Temerarios, Banda el Recodo, Thalia, Alejandra Guzman, Alexandre Pires, Carlos Ponce and Sin Bandera.
