Heil-Brice Retail Advertising (HBRA) announced it had hired Syra C. Villarreal to join its Hispanic division, Publicidad en Español, to assist in creative direction and account services. Villarreal most recently worked as a creative director at Mendoza, Dillon & Asociados in Aliso Viejo, CA. She will report to Rosalie Delgadillo, Publicidad en Español ‘s Executive
Director of Ethnic Marketing.

HBRA established Publicidad en Español in 1989. The division has grown as more of HBRA’s clients have targeted advertising toward Hispanics, the fastest growing demographic in the United States.

“We recognized the need for integrated English- and Spanish-language advertising campaigns long before many of our competitors,” said Hal Brice, HBRA’s president. “We expect much of our future growth will depend upon the continued success of Publicidad en Español, and welcome the addition of experienced Hispanic market professionals like Syra to the company.”

“In an effort to expand and meet the growing demands of our clients as well as pursue new ventures, it was clear it was time to strengthen this division by hiring a strong creative with a lot of experience marketing to Hispanics. Syra brings over 10 years of valuable and award winning skills that we are very excited about,” said Delgadillo.
