Heineken USA Celebrates 6th Year As Sponsor Of Latin Grammy Awards.

Heineken USA confirmed that it will once again be an official beer sponsor of the 6th Annual Latin Grammy Awards. For the sixth year in a row, Heineken will be the official beer sponsor of the awards festivities, as well as the official beer sponsor of the official Latin GRAMMY After Party and Latin Person of the Year Tribute. The 6th Annual Latin Grammy Awards, set for November 3 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, will be broadcast live by the Univision Network at 8 p.m. EST/7 p.m. CDT. Heineken will support the program with a comprehensive radio, TV, print and in-store marketing campaign.
Consumers (21 years of age or older) are invited to enter the Heineken Takes Your Entourage to the Latin Grammys sweepstakes, where one lucky consumer and 12 of his or her friends will win an all expenses paid trip to the Latin Grammy Awards. In-store POS and displays will direct consumers to www.heineken.com where they’ll have the chance to enter to win. Eligible consumers can enter the sweepstakes between September 19 and October 10.
To build additional excitement leading up to the 6th Latin Grammy Awards, Heineken will leverage its own strong music platform to stage a number of star-studded music events. In October and November, cities such as Chicago, Miami, New York, Houston and Los Angeles will have an opportunity to experience Heineken’s Latin Music Tour, featuring Cabas and Yerba Buena. Heineken will also sponsor Latin Grammy Street Parties, which will offer first-class entertainment from some of Latin music’s hottest artists. The Street Parties are set to take place throughout the month of October, commencing in Chicago on October 2, New York on October 9, Miami on October 23 and Los Angeles on October 30.
Nominations for the 6th Annual Latin Grammy Awards were announced on August 23. This year’s Latin Grammy Awards features 43 award categories, including: Record of The Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best New Artist.
