Telemundo evenings will be filled with mystery and intrigue with the premiere of the new original production “El Rostro de Analía,” a provocative story of a woman whose face is reconstructed in the image of her “murderer,” and returns from the dead to re-claim what is rightfully hers. “El Rostro de Analía,” premieres October 20 at 9PM / 8c on Telemundo, with a top-notch cast that includes Elizabeth Gutiérrez, Martín Karpán, Maritza Rodríguez, Gabriel Porras, Karla Monroig, Zully Montero, Elluz Peraza, Flor Núñez, Flavio Caballero, and Daniel Lugo, with special guest star Gaby Espino.

In this riveting story, ambition, revenge, and the criminal world intertwine to conspire against Mariana Andrade (Gaby Espino), a young and successful businesswoman who discovers that her husband is having an affair with her cousin Sara (Maritza Rodríguez). Sara is a beautiful, ambitious and dangerous woman bound to the drug trafficking mafia; capable of anything, including murder, in order to get what wants.

When Mariana discovers the terrible truth, she leaves her house only to meet face to face with a woman who has been sent to kill her. After an attempt on her life and a car accident that leaves her disfigured, Mariana is rescued by a scientist (Daniel Lugo) who unwittingly reconstructs her face in the wrong image; forever changing the course of her life. Unable to remember anything from her past, and now with the face of Analía (Elizabeth Gutierrez), the woman who tried to kill her, Mariana is forced to confront the dark and dangerous past of her “murderer.” From this moment, she will live a double life that unleashes a battle between love and her desire for revenge. Eventually she will be forced to decide if she can forgive in order to find happiness, even if she has to accept living in the shadows of Analía.

“El Rostro de Analia” is an original novela by renowned writer Humberto “Kico” Olivieri, responsible for such hits as: “El Zorro: La Espada y la Rosa” and “La Tormenta.” The novela is directed by David Posada and Danny Gaviria; with Jairo Arcila as General Producer and Aurelio Valcarcel Carroll as Executive Producer.
