Hispanic HHs use of Communication & Entertainment Services.

According to Centris, in many areas related to technology, Hispanic households profiled similarly to White and Blacks.  Hispanic households are often as likely to own technology products or subscribe to technology services — ranging from cell phones to HDTV and broadband connections — as White households that have higher annual incomes on average.  In fact, Hispanic and White households tend to have similar ownership and subscription profiles.  Only the likelihood of White households subscribing to Internet access (personal or household-level) statistically significantly exceeds that of Hispanic households.  Also, Black households have a higher likelihood of owning and subscribing than Hispanic households for only a handful of technology products and services, and statistically significantly so only for premium channels.
