Hispanic-owned Agency will plant 10,000 tress on behalf of clients, friends and colleagues.

This Holiday Season Nobox Marketing Group’s award-winning creative team has produced a rather unique, fun and interactive Holiday gift initiative whereby the agency will plant 10,000 new trees on behalf of its clients, friends and colleagues. Together with Trees for the Future (www.treesftf.org http://www.treesftf.org/> ), a Silver Spring, MD-based agroforestry resource center dedicated to planting trees throughout Africa, Asia and Latin America, Nobox is giving back to Mother Earth some of the resources taken away, by replacing a symbolic few of the countless numbers of trees which are sacrificed each Holiday Season.

A central feature of the Nobox Holiday initiative is a dedicated website http://www.fromnobox.com/> : once there, users will visit an interactive virtual forest, designed by the agency; it’s a picturesque mountain landscape teeming with trees and wildlife. As Nobox begins planting its Holiday gift trees in phases, they will also continue developing the virtual forest, adding trees as well as a diversity of wildlife, meant to emulate what occurs naturally in eco systems throughout the world, when the presence of trees increases.

“Nobox is as committed to its clients and its work as it is to the wellbeing of our environment,” said agency President Jayson Fittipaldi. “This Holiday Season we hope to honor our clients, friends and colleagues by giving something tangible back to the planet; our gift to them will be to plant a tree, or rather 100 trees, on each of their behalf. In doing so, we hope to help raise awareness – in a fun and creative way — of the serious environmental impact resulting from deforestation.” The agency has additionally created a personalized, custom, commemorative piece for its gift recipients, as a remembrance of its 2007 Holiday initiative.

While at http://www.fromnobox.com/> , as users may interact with the individual trees to see in whose name Nobox has planted it. The scene also turns from day to night, in accordance with the time of day set on the user’s machine. Visitors to the website are invited to donate new trees to the project as well as to encourage others to also join the initiative through an e-mail invitation; each time a virtual tree is planted online for a charge of $10.00, Trees for the Future will plant 100 real trees.

“As we recognize those who’ve become such an important part of our business, we also invite others to join us; hopefully taking this initiative well beyond our own 10,000-tree benchmark – please, come and plant some more with us!” said Fittipaldi.
