Hispanic Public Relations Association Launches Revamped Web Site.

The Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) announced the launch of its improved Web site and new address to http://www.hpra-usa.org . The enhanced site will be a valuable resource to members and those interested in learning more about the organization and its programs.

HPRA introduced its first Web site in 2003 as http://www.hprala.org. Some of the new content includes a members’ only section where job postings and The Buzz newsletter will be available, a calendar of events, photos of past PRemio Awards and more. Also, students can download the application for the 2004 HPRA Scholarship Program, which recognizes 10 outstanding undergraduate Hispanic students who are pursuing careers in public relations and related Communications fields. Scholarships will be awarded at the annual PRemio Awards dinner on October 20.

“This new Web site is a testament to the Board of Directors vision and rapid expansion of HPRA to becoming a national organization,” said HPRA President Sandra Bernardo. “We are now in a strong position to offer more to our members and the Communications community. By changing the address we are laying the groundwork for growth in the near future.”
