Hispanic Restaurant Market Growing 3.5 Times Faster Than Any Other Group.

The National Restaurant Association is poised to expand its global presence exponentially with the debut of its new International Cuisine Pavilion, an innovative feature added to the 2005 Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show, to be held May 21-24 at McCormick Place in Chicago. The Pavilion will provide a showcase for authentic, traditional Latin food and beverage companies as well as food and beverage importers from Mexico and Latin America. This new Pavilion promises to be abuzz with over 73,000+ attendees from all 50 states and more than 100 countries eager to see what’s new in Latin food and beverages to spice up their menus.

Authentic cuisine will be featured by both domestic as well as the foreign companies looking to open new doors for their products in the U.S. The Show is on both the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Buyer Program and the U.S. Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) list of sponsored trade shows.

The U.S. Hispanic population spends more than $55 billion annually on food and beverages. With Latino-themed restaurants growing 3.5 times faster than any other group, and with the majority of mainstream restaurants also incorporating Latin fusions, manufacturers of food and beverage products have an opportunity to enter or expand product lines in this growing multi-billion dollar industry.
