Rafael Monteiro, President of HOLA Networks and his daughter Virginia share a special holiday tradition. For the past several years, they have brought holiday cheer to hundreds of troubled children in Miami by appearing as Santa and Elf and visiting local children’s centers to distribute donated toys and candy.
On December 17, 2008, HOLA Networks and teamed up with Rafael and Virginia who once again played Santa and Elf for the City of South Miami Holiday Toy Fest to benefit more than 400 deserving kids in the community. HOLA’s employees donated toys and candy and volunteered their time to participate in the event.
Highlights of the event included Santa’s arrival on a Miami-Dade fire truck, “Rudolph’s Red Hot Dance Zone”, “Frosty’s Face Painting” and “Santa’s Workshop” where the kids design special holiday ornaments.
All of us at HOLA Networks are proud of our team for their generosity and willingness to share with others, especially during these difficult economic times. We will continue to share this tradition for years to come.
