Horowitz Research names Two Senior Directors
April 14, 2016
Horowitz Research has expanded its senior leadership team with two new additions. Mariana Diaz-Wionczek, PhD, joins the team as the new Senior Director of Research and Strategy, and Claire Dinaso has been named as Senior Director of Research.
Diaz-Wionczek joins Horowitz’s senior team in directing projects for their clients in the television, digital, and mobile space. Mariana, an expert in multicultural research, will work closely with Adriana Waterston, SVP of Insights and Strategy, to build on Horowitz’s capabilities in that area. Her role will also include advising on content development, programming, and marketing and distribution strategies.
Diaz-Wionczek will lead the company’s expanding Gen Z practice. She previously served as Head of Education and Research for Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer brands. Prior to that, she served as curriculum research consultant for Univision’s Sesame Amigos and Nick’s series Bubble Guppies.

Meet Claire
As Senior Director of Research, Dinaso will take a role in leading Horowitz’s quantitative custom research for clients in Horowitz’s growing library of syndicated studies and reports. Her quantitative experience includes online, central location, and home use testing using both traditional and specialized research techniques such as conjoint, experimental design and sensory-based approaches.
Dinaso comes to Horowitz with nearly twenty years of research experience, including a long tenure as Vice President of Research at Moskowitz Jacobs and, more recently, at Mind Genomics Advisors, where she was Vice President of Client Services. Her previous work includes extensive quantitative and qualitative projects with a strong focus on message optimization and product development.
President Howard Horowitz said, “We are extremely pleased to welcome two seasoned researchers to our team as we continue to stay on the cutting-edge of our media and multicultural specialties. With Mariana’s extensive background in multicultural, programming, and kids’ research, she will play an integral role in our vast multicultural research practice.”
“Similarly, Claire’s achievements as a researcher and her skill sets in multiple, unique research disciplines ensures we stay at the forefront of research methodology for our clients.”
