Hoy Converts To Controlled Circulation In Chicago & Los Angeles.

Hoy announced that it will convert to a controlled circulation model in Chicago and Los Angeles beginning in January 2005. Under this new model, Hoy plans to accelerate its growth in both cities, increasing distribution to match reader and advertiser demand.
Hoy’s Chicago and Los Angeles editions will home deliver to targeted ZIP codes, in addition to distribution through vending boxes, stores, restaurants and other locations where people spend time reading the newspaper. Hoy will continue to measure its audience through semi-annual circulation audits, conducted by the Audit Bureau of Circulations, and readership studies
conducted by Scarborough and Gallup.
