Hoy Los Angeles marks 10th Anniversary with Launch of Hoy Deportes

The Los Angeles Times Media Group’s Hoy Los Angeles celebrates its 10th birthday with the introduction of Hoy Deportes, a new website (www.hoydeportes.com) and weekly Monday print edition beginning March 3.

“Latino-heritage Angelenos rank amongst the world’s most avid sports fans and, with the World Cup about to take to the pitch in Brazil, we felt the time was right to launch Hoy Deportes,” said Editor Alejandro Maciel. “We’re excited to give readers rich, up-to-the-minute sports news and information online and via mobile devices, as well as ensure readers interested in a print edition get each week’s scores, game reports, athlete profiles and more every Monday.”
