Hoy Wins 20 Hispanic Print Awards From NAHP.

Hoy took 20 awards for writing and design in the 15th Annual National Association of Hispanic Publications Print Awards contest, including 10 first-place awards.
Hoy a New York metropolitan area Spanish-language newspaper also took 10 second-place awards in the awards competition. The awards were announced at the group’s recent national convention in Las Vegas.
“We are once again pleased by the national recognition from the NAHP of the quality of Hoy’s editorial content and the design of our product,” said Louis Sito, President, Publisher and CEO of Hoy. “This marks the second consecutive year in which Hoy has been a major recipient of awards in the NAHP competition.”
The contest, sponsored by the National Association of Hispanic Publications, awarded prizes in more than 100 categories.
Hoy’s first-place honors came in the categories of Classified Section; Special Section (9/11 anniversary); Education Article; Latin American Political Article; Design, Tabloid Format; Design, Magazine Format; Section Design; Inside Design Spread; Editorial Cartoon; and Ad Promoting Your Publication.
