Humberto Luna is back on Hispanic Radio.

Clear Channel Radio announced that its Spanish-language programming initiative, La Preciosa Network, has named Spanish radio personality icon Humberto Luna as its new morning show host. “El Show de Humberto Luna” will launch on January 20th, airing from 4:00 AM to 10:00 AM PCT.

“Humberto Luna is recognized as one of the premiere Spanish language radio personalities. Over the past twenty-five years, his accomplishments in audience rating success and community involvement are unmatched,” said Alfredo Alonso, Senior Vice President of Hispanic Radio, Clear Channel Radio. “It’s not everyday a personality of his caliber is available and we’re extremely excited to be able to offer his unique talent to our audience.”

“El Show de Humberto Luna” will air over the La Preciosa Network, which comprises more than a dozen stations, including KPRC-FM/Monterey; KSJO-FM/San Jose; KSMY-FM/Santa Maria; KBFP-FM/Bakersfield; KDIF-AM/Riverside; KFSO-FM/Fresno; KIZS-FM/Tulsa; KWSL-AM/Sioux City; WGBT-FM/Greensboro; KTZR-FM/Tucson; KVJM-FM/Bryan; KYDZ-AM/Omaha ; and KWID-FM/Las Vegas.

With a career in radio and television, Luna became the first Spanish language on-air talent to be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In addition, Hispanic Business Magazine named Luna as one of the Top 100 Influencers in the Hispanic market.

Luna replaces former host Alex Lucas, who left to pursue other opportunities last month.
