ImpreMedia announce campaign for Mayweather vs. Mosley WBA World Welterweight Championship

ImpreMedia has partnered with Golden Boy Promotions to develop a multimedia program to deliver pay-per-view subscriptions to the World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight showdown between Floyd Mayweather and Shane Mosley. 

Entitled “Who R U Picking?” , the much anticipated bout will take place Saturday, May 1, 2010, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.  It will be distributed live on HBO Pay-Per-View beginning at 9pm ET/6pm PT.

To generate pay-per-view subscriptions to the live championship bout, impreMedia has created a multiplatform campaign that includes a sweepstakes promotion for a trip for two to the fight in Las Vegas including airfare and hotel accommodations.  The promotion will also provide a chance to take part in the “Community Experience” – having a ringside experience during the bout.  Anyone 21 and over will be able to register for the sweepstakes.

The promotion is supported with a heavy media schedule to direct impreMedia’s 9.3 million monthly online, print and mobile audience to the sweepstakes. This campaign includes display ads with leaderboard placements promoting the pay-per-view message across the impre.com network, mobile messaging via news alerts and SMS message one hour prior to the fight, video spots and ads in impreMedia’s newspapers.

Hispanic boxing enthusiasts can interact with their favorite sport via impreMedia’s “Round 13” or “Round Trece” (www.round13.com http://www.round13.com ) social media component.  “Round 13” enables fans to view videos and the latest boxing news, share ideas, debate via forums and discuss other related boxing topics.
