Infinity Back to School Support

Infinity Insurance signed on to help Telemundo 52 to provide students of Latino communities the opportunity to receive much needed school supplies and educational resources at West Adams High School. On August 23rd, the Infinity sponsored booth distributed over 3,000 items including paper, pens, pencils, binders, folders, rulers, and spiral notebooks to students attending the back to school event. Hundreds of bags were passed out, filled with school supplies, to parents and children who waited anxiously in line.

Organizers designed the event to encourage students to continue their studies and to emphasize the importance of a college education. The purpose of the event was also to address the lack of resources available for these students to succeed. Academic and civic leaders presented during the information workshops to inspire students to participate in mentoring programs.

Infinity, through the Infinity Cares program, continues to support students with tools to help them reach their dreams during these difficult economic times. Infinity that same week partnered with the LA Galaxy in support of their school supply drive. Infinity employees help staffed collection sites to gather contributions from fans attending the soccer match on August 21st. A total of 1,500 items were donated on behalf of fans to Leapwood Elementary and School on Wheels.
