Interep 2nd Annual Radio Symposium In June 2005.

Interep announced that it will hold its second annual Radio Symposium on Thursday, June 23rd, 2005 at the Grand Hyatt in New York. The symposium will address current opportunities and challenges facing the radio industry, including competitive forces, the advertising environment, pricing and inventory issues, research, programming developments, and other relevant issues.

Interep’s 2004 Radio Symposium, moderated by Bear Stearns’s Victor Miller, RBC Capital Markets’ David Bank and Cumulus’s Lew Dickey, Jr., drew over 250 attendees and featured some of the most prominent opinion-leaders in the broadcasting, advertising and financial arenas. The day-long event featured speakers and panel discussions, and included representatives from the broadcasting, media sales, advertising agency, research and financial sectors.

Advertising executives from major agencies including Mediaedge:CIA, OMD, Mindshare, Horizon Media, Zenith and JL Media participated, as well as broadcasting executives from ABC Radio, Clear Channel, Cumulus, Emmis Broadcasting, Infinity Broadcasting, Inner City Broadcasting, Radio One, Spanish Broadcasting Systems and Susquehanna Radio.
