InterLiga Tournament returns to Fox Sports en Espanol.

Fox Sports en Espanol announced the schedule for its live and exclusive telecasts of the InterLiga tournament, the only all-Mexican professional club soccer tournament played entirely on U.S. soil. Spanning a total of 14 matches through January 12, Spanish-language coverage of InterLiga(TM) kicks off on Fox Sports en Espanol on January 2 and features eight Mexican teams vying for the two final berths into the 48th edition of the prestigious Copa Santander Libertadores presented by Toyota. All matches will be preceded by a live, half-hour pre-game show.

Live from the in-studio Tecate Cantina, Troy Santiago and Samuel Jacobo will host the pre-game show, while Jorge Ramos and Hernan Pereira will share play-by-play commentary duties from each stadium alongside field reporter Elmur Souza.

The eight teams competing in InterLiga 2008 earned berths based on their combined record in the 2006 Apertura and 2007 Clausura seasons of the Mexican domestic league. Participating teams include:

Group A – Club America, Atlas, Toluca, and Monarcas; Group B – Cruz Azul, Pumas, Monterrey, and San Luis.
