Isabel Allende will talk with Jean Shinoda Bolen about what women can do to change the world. “I am delighted to be part of the International Museum of Women’s mission to drive a profound shift in thinking about women around the world,” said Allende. “With my good friend Jean Bolen, we hope to have a lively discussion about the changing roles of women’s lives, and how to raise the voices of contemporary women around the world.” Isabel Allende is the much-loved author of fourteen books including The House of the Spirits, Paula, and Aphrodite, and the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including membership in the American Academy of Arts and Letters. In 1996, Allende created a foundation in memory of her daughter, which focuses on aiding and educating women as a means of improving communities around the world.
