Lopez Negrete Communications (LNC) announced that it has tapped Jim Irvine as Senior Director of Media Strategies.
In this newly created role, Irvine will interface between several of the agency’s teams including Consumer Insights Group, Account Service and Media Buying to continue to deliver and exceed clients’ expectations. Irvine will work on all of the agency’s accounts including Bank of America, Wal-Mart Stores, Tyson Foods, Visa U.S.A., Shell Oil Products US, Azteca Milling, L.P., Sonic Drive-Ins, Reliant Energy and Microsoft Corporation.

Most recently, Irvine served as Chief Media Strategist for The Cartel Group, working on accounts such as the U.S. Army, JCPenney, Capital One, Leap Wireless, Tecate, Dickies and Chili’s. Irvine has more than 20 years of experience leading media planning departments at agencies such as Ornelas & Associates, Siboney USA/Dallas, Bromley Communications and The Solis Group. He spent much of his early career in various posts within Wunderman Worldwide. Other accounts he has serviced include Nissan North America, Kimberly-Clark, Bank One, Nestle, American Airlines, Burger King, M&M/Mars and Coca Cola. Irvine prides himself on the development of proprietary segmentation tools and leading a department with zero percent turnover in more than three years at The Cartel Group.
Supporting Irvine will be Joe Genova, Director of Media Buying Services and an eight-year LNC veteran, who leads the 12-member media team.
