Isaac Mizrahi named CEO of ALMA

Modern culture agency alma has named Isaac Mizrahi as the agency’s Co-President and Chief Executive Officer. Previously serving as COO, Mizrahi will continue to lead the agency’s overall growth, building on its recent success and new business wins, including 18 new partners which have been added in the last 18 months. Alongside Mizrahi, Co-President and CCO Alvar Suñol will continue to lead the agency’s creative product for clients including McDonald’s, PepsiCo, Google, Molson Coors, State Farm and Change the Ref.

This change comes as the agency’s previous CEO Luis Miguel Messianu takes on a new role within DDB Worldwide as Global Chief Creative Officer for the McDonald’s account. Messianu will remain with alma as Chairman, splitting his time between the new roles.

Alvar Suñol has been with alma as Co-President and CCO since 2015, leading the development of its award-winning, best-in-class creative team focused on creative effectiveness. In his role, Suñol has led the agency to secure numerous creative and effectiveness awards, including 24 Cannes Lions and 12 Effie Awards since 2016. Notable campaigns have included Netflix Narcos “Spanish Lessons,” Change the Ref “3D Activist,” and, most recently, PepsiCo “Better with Pepsi.”
