Jack Daniel’s Studio Nº 7 concludes first annual Latino Series.
April 16, 2007
The Jack Daniel’s Studio Nº 7 Latino concert series recently concluded with an intimate concert for more than 200 guests from 14 countries at the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee. The one-of-a-kind trip included a taste of Nashville, a visit to the historic town of Lynchburg, and a tour of the Jack Daniel Distillery, where every drop of Jack Daniel’s enjoyed around the world is produced. The highlight of the weekend was an intimate special show by headlining band, Argentina’s Babasonicos and, opening act, Puerto Rico’s Cherry Clan on BBQ Hill overlooking the Jack Daniel Distillery.
“Since Mr. Jack’s days, music, friends, and Jack Daniel’s have always made for the perfect intimate evening. Studio No 7 is a continuation of that authentic Jack Daniel’s legacy,” said Aaron Martin, Brand Marketing Manager, Latin America. “Babasonicos gave a great performance with the backdrop of Jack Daniel’s barrel warehouses and the beautiful hills of Lynchburg.”
The Studio No 7 Latino series was created to bring great music to friends of Jack Daniel’s in a small, unique setting. The concerts are invitation only and feature some of the top performing acts in Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic community. The Jack Daniel’s Studio No 7 Latino concerts hit more cities than ever in 2007 with mega-band headliners including:
— Molotov and Inspector, Mexico
— Babasonicos, Argentina
— Los Amigos Invisibles, Venezuela
— Los Abandoned, Chile & LA
— Cherry Clan, Puerto Rico
— Circo, Puerto Rico
The Jack Daniel’s concert events resulted in packed venues in New York (3/28), Miami (3/29), San Juan (3/30), San Jose (4/5), Los Angeles (4/6), Phoenix (4/7), San Antonio (4/12), Houston (4/13), Dallas (4/15) and Chicago (4/18). “Jack Daniel’s Studio No 7 Latino concerts provide a special music experience that helps Jack Daniel’s make friends within the Hispanic community and throughout Latin America,” said Miguel Nigrinis, Atlantic Division Hispanic Marketing Manager for Jack Daniel’s. “It’s a natural fit that as friends get together and listen to live music that Jack Daniel’s is there too.”
