Jeffrey Liberman honored with the 2014 Medallas de Cortez Award for Broadcaster of the Year

Entravision Communications Corporation announced that Jeffery A. Liberman, Chief Operating Officer at Entravision was honored with the 2014 Medallas de Cortez Award for Broadcaster of the Year.   The awards were established in 2007 to recognize excellence in Hispanic radio broadcasting.
 
“On behalf of the entire Entravision family I extend our congratulations to Jeff, a true leader in the industry and Latino community,” said Walter F. Ulloa, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Entravision. “His commitment and vision has been a critical part of the success of Entravision and our efforts to serve the Latino community and advertisers through an integrated multi-media platform that spans not only radio but across television, digital media and marketing solutions.  I would also like to recognize all the finalists for their accomplishments.”

Liberman.  “I wish to thank everyone who has encouraged, influenced and assisted me throughout my career.  The Hispanic media industry remains well positioned for continued growth and it’s an exciting time to be part of it.”
 
Entravision is proud to recognize the following employees and station on their nominations: Tony Valencia, KLOK & KSES/Monterey-Salinas for Sales Manager of the Year; and the entire staff of KQRT & KRRN/Las Vegas for being Station of the Year finalists. Mary Hawley, former SVP, National Sales and Marketing at Entravision was also nominated and awarded Marketer of the Year.
