Jessica Cuevas Molina joins Captura Group as Executive Creative Director

Captura Group announced that Jessica Cuevas Molina is joining the agency as Executive Creative Director. Jessica will bring behavior changing creative work to Captura Group’s growing client roster, focusing on driving growth while mentoring and expanding Captura Group’s talented creative team.

With over 16 years of experience as a director, vlogger and award-winning creative, Jessica’s work has been recognized internationally including awards at Cannes, FIAP, El Ojo, The Webby and EFFIE. She has led creative teams at general market and multicultural agencies such as Publicis, Conill-Saatchi & Saatchi and VMLY&R, spearheading groundbreaking work for clients that include Procter & Gamble, Colgate-Palmolive, PlayStation, McDonald’s, T-Mobile, Toyota and KIA. Jessica also wrote and directed the IGTV series “33 Mistakes I Made As A Creative” and directed the cooking vlog “La Comida Nais”.

“As a LatinX female creative director, I am beyond thrilled to join Captura Group as their Executive Creative Director. In everything they do, there is an essence of Hispanic + Digital which has been my professional motto since I began working in this industry 16 years ago. I am very humbled by the trust Lee Vann has put in me to lead the agency towards more digital first, behavior changing, culturally relevant campaigns that bring growth to all their amazing clients. To be part of an agency that has innovation rooted deep in its core, to me, is everything. Estoy muy emocionada por todo lo que podemos lograr juntos.”

“For the past 20 years, Captura Group has focused on driving growth for our clients at the intersection of Hispanic and digital marketing. It is rewarding to see our vision continue to materialize as savvy marketers are driving incremental, quantifiable ROI by targeting Hispanics via a digital-first and culturally relevant approach,” commented Lee Vann, Captura Group’s co-founder and Executive Chairman. Based on recent data from the Hispanic Marketing Council, Hispanics make up 19% of the U.S. population and will represent $2.5 trillion in buying power by 2024. Hispanic usage of digital technologies over-indexes the general market with 57% of Hispanics spending more than one hour per day on social media and 27% spending more than two hours per day compared with just 48% and 20% respectively for the total population.

“The COVID pandemic and recent racial awakening in our country have brought to the forefront the importance of diversity and representation. Diversity is not a buzzword, it is a moral and business imperative. As a Hispanic first agency, we have the obligation to continue to invest in talent that represents today’s America and today’s marketing reality,” added Vann.

Jessica will report directly to Walter Boza, Captura Group’s President and General Manager, and will play an instrumental role in driving the agency’s vision. “Jessica embodies everything today’s advertising requires: Not only is Jessica 100% bilingual and bicultural and a digital native, but also understands how to develop cutting edge messages across channels. Most importantly she has demonstrated experience for leading brands and brings an entrepreneurial mindset, agility and nimbleness to Captura Group. She is a creative leader who is ideally suited for today’s advertising” commented Boza. “We are seeing tremendous growth for our clients who are employing our proven Hispanic and digital-first approach and anticipate this growth to continue to accelerate into the future. As a result, we are making strategic investments in the right talent that will help our clients harness this opportunity, and we are confident that Jessica will do just that.”
