ImpreMedia, LLC announced it has completed the acquisition of Tribune Company’s New York publication, Hoy, and its related weekend publication Fin de Semana. Both companies announced the acquisition agreement on February 12, 2007.

ImpreMedia Chairman and CEO, John Paton, also announced the appointment of Jorge Ayala to the position of Publisher and CEO of Hoy New York, effective immediately. Mr. Ayala had previously been the General Sales Manager at ImpreMedia’s El Diario La Prensa, also in New York, where he led the division to record advertising sales revenues. “Jorge has done just a remarkable job at El Diario La Prensa and we are sure he will have the same success at Hoy New York,” Mr. Paton said.
