Jose Luis Villa joins DMG as partner and CCO.

“’Creativity and Media have to be joined again.’ That was the sentiment that brought about this union.”

DMG Solutions, the Miami-based agency that has been among the top three biggest Hispanic Media buyers in the U.S. for the past three years, announces that Jose Luis Villa has joined its ranks as a partner and as General Creative Director. He becomes part of the team led by its president Joe Del Cueto.

“Jose Luis joins us as part of a new agency project, based on the unique integration of Media and Creative; how it was done before but with the advantage of what we have today and of a vision that looks toward the future. We could very well call it a ‘Back to the Future,’” commented Joe.

The addition of Jose Luis to DMG is an exponential demonstration of its advertising product. The combination of a powerful media-buying force and an excellent strategic creative product places it in a unique position within the national market.

Basing itself on this philosophy, DMG Solutions is in a crucial part of its development. The agency has strengthened and solidified its efforts by joining its media and creative departments by design; this in turn has made it more robust and has allowed it to work with its clients on a “results” basis. Among its biggest clients are DIRECTV Más, Continucare, Presidente Beer, and WellCare.

“I often notice a great disconnect between media placement and ideas, between length and format; and how could that not be, if in most cases the people in charge of media and the people in charge of ideas share only the name of the client for whom they are working,” Jose Luis said.

“There’s currently a great opportunity in the Hispanic Market to break the thirty second barrier. Consumers are ready for other platforms and other formats.”

Jose Luis formerly worked as Creative V.P. of Alma DDB. He is a co-founder, ex-president, and current member of the board of directors of Circulo Creativo. He has managed accounts like NOKIA, McDonald’s, Volkswagen, Budweiser, NEC, Uniliver and Coca-Cola, to name a few. He has also worked in relevant markets such as Mexico, Chile, and Spain, and has spent the past 15 years working in the Hispanic Market and Latin America.
