Three partners with extensive multi-cultural experience have joined forces to create a full-service integrated marketing communications agency with offices east and west of the Hudson River – Chelsea in NYC and Gladstone NJ.
Their inspiration comes from karyon’s definition – the part of the nucleus that triggers the DNA and RNA to grow and reproduce. The partner’s compliment each other’s expertise while focusing on a clear mission for the agency; grow its client’s brands.
Rob O‚Leary, the agency’s Partner/CEO, stated “karyon’s focus is on marketing ideas that can be implemented in digital as well as the traditional space”, elaborating that consumers don’t make a distinction between online and old-line media. Mr. O‚Leary is the founder and CEO of The RJO Group, an experiential marketing events agency in New York City.
Tom Schimoler, karyon’s Partner and Chief Creative Officer explains “we feel equally comfortable working above-the-line or below-the-line, creating integrated marketing campaigns that can be implemented across different multi-cultural segments effectively and efficiently”. Mr. Schimoler was Creative Director at McCann WorldGroup’s International Team – working on the agency’s global clients, and more recently was Executive Creative Director at The Vidal Partnership in New York.
