Kelly joined NBC Universal in 2000 and spent his first four years as a senior vice president and then an executive vice president at CNBC.  Kelly’s sales team met or exceeded sales goals each year despite the plunge in financial markets due to the Dot.Com meltdown. The shift to NBC News occurred in 2004 when Kelly was named senior vice president. He was promoted to executive vice president in 2011. Kelly’s teams consistently achieved or exceeded goals for the entire news portfolio at NBC Universal. In 2012, he created and led the Innovation Sales Group. Kelly consistently delivered ever increasing all-time high annual revenues for MSNBC. Prior to joining the NBC Universal team, Kelly served in executive sales leadership roles for Excite@Home (1998-2000) and AETN (1996-98).  He started his network television sales career with a 14-year run at CBS (1982-96).
