KLAX-FM in LA debuts ‘El Chulo de la Mañana’.

Spanish Broadcasting System, Inc. (SBS) announced that KLAX La Raza 97.9 FM in Los Angeles will begin airing the hit Chicago morning radio show “El Chulo de la Mañana” tomorrow, Tuesday, September 16th. El Chulo has dominated the ratings war while broadcasting on SBS’ sister station WLEY La Ley 107.9 FM in Chicago. ”El Chulo de la Mañana “ will launch in Los Angeles on SBS’ owned  KLAX La Raza 97.9 FM on Tuesday, September 16th. 

The program will air Monday through Friday from 5:00AM to 10:00 AM. “EL Chulo de la Mañana” is hosted by the popular Joaquin Garza, also known as “El Chulo.” Garza has created a niche in the Spanish Radio industry, maintaining a loyal audience base that has followed him throughout his successful radio career. In his 22 years in radio, Garza, who was born in Mexico, has worked in top radio markets such as Los Angeles, San Jose, San Francisco, Sacramento, Phoenix, Dallas and Austin, Texas. On the “El Chulo de la Mañana”, show, Garza is assisted by his inseparable sidekick Raul Bernal, also known as the ever popular “Doña Mela” and Denise Garcia.
