KMEX-TV Scores Again As L.A.’s Highest Rated Station.

KMEX-TV posted another strong performance in the latest Nielsen NSI ratings book, ranking as the leading station in L.A., regardless of language, in average ratings for all key demographics.
· KMEX-TV ranks as the top station in Los Angeles in average “sign-on to sign-off” ratings for all primary demographics: Adults 18-34, 18-49, 25-49 and 25-54.
· In Primetime, KMEX-TV is the highest rated station among Adults 18-34, 18-49, and 25-49, and second among Adults 25-54.
· KMEX-TV’s 6:00 p.m. newscast, “Noticias 34,” is again the highest rated early local newscast in Los Angeles for all key demographics (Adults 18-34, 18-49, 25-49 and 25-54), outperforming competitive newscasts on KNBC-TV, KABC-TV and KCBS-TV. “Noticias 34” has now ranked number one among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 for 38 consecutive Nielsen “Sweeps” (since May 1994).
· KMEX-TV is the highest rated station in prime access (Monday to Friday: 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.) among all key demographics.
· KMEX-TV also ranks number one among all key demos in Early Fringe (Monday to Friday: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.), and ranks first one among Adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-49 in average Daytime ratings.
· The 11:00 p.m. edition of “Noticias 34” is the highest rated late newscast in Los Angeles among Adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-49, and second among Adults 25-54.
· KMEX-TV airs eleven (11) of the top 20 rated regularly scheduled primetime network programs among Adults 18-34, nine (9) of the top 20 programs among Adults 18-49, and six (6) of the top 20 programs among Adults 25-54.
