KMEX-TV Scores Its Best Competitive Ratings Book.

From sign-on to sign-off, KMEX-TV ranks as the leading station in Los Angeles, regardless of language, in average ratings for all key demographics, with significant ratings growth from last year.
· KMEX-TV’s 6:00 p.m. newscast, “Noticias 34,” is again the most watched early local newscast in Los Angeles among all key demographics (Adults 18-34, 18-49, 25-49 and 25-54), outperforming the competing newscasts on KNBC-TV, KABC-TV and KCBS-TV. “Noticias 34” has now ranked first among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 for 37 consecutive Nielsen “Sweeps” (since July 1994).
· For the first time, the 11:00 p.m. edition of “Noticias 34” is the top rated late newscast in Los Angeles, posting higher ratings among all key demos.
· “Noticiero Univisión” at 6:30 p.m. is the top rated network newscast in Los Angeles, posting higher ratings among all key demographics than its English-language network news competitors.
· In Daytime, KMEX-TV is the highest rated station among Adults 18-34 (with +18% ratings growth from May 2002) and Adults 18-49 (+33%), and second among Adults 25-54 (+30%).
· In Early Fringe, KMEX-TV ranks first among all key demographics, including Adults 18-34 (with +45% ratings growth from May 2002), Adults 18-49 (+26%) and Adults 25-54 (+50%).
· In Prime Access, KMEX-TV is the highest rated station among Adults 18-34 (with +38% ratings growth from May 2002) and Adults 18-49 (+14%).
· In Primetime, KMEX-TV is the highest rated station among Adults 18-34 (with +32% ratings growth from May 2002), and second among Adults 18-49 (+21%) and Adults 25-54 (+18%).
· KMEX-TV posted ten (10) of the top twenty (20) highest rated regularly scheduled primetime programs among Adults 18-34, six (6) of the top 20 among Adults 18-49, and five (5) of the top 20 among Adults 25-54.
