KMXE Sold to owner of Los Angeles Angels.

Radiovisa, LLC has agreed to sell Radiovisa 830 AM KMXE Los Angeles to a partnership led by Arte Moreno, owner of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Radiovisa 830 AM KMXE boasts the nation’s largest Spanish language AM radio signal.
The partnership, which will immediately begin operating the station pursuant to a local marketing agreement, plans to complete acquisition of the station from Radiovisa upon approval of licensing by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
Under the new ownership, Radio 830 KMXE will serve as the flagship Hispanic radio broadcast outlet for Angels Baseball, starting with the 2006 season.
