KSFV-LP In LA To Broadcast MTVS, VHUno and Fox Sports World Español Cable Audience Teasers.

KSFV-LP, Channel 26 is launching the first-ever over-the-air broadcast of the Spanish-language versions of MTV (MTVS), VH1 (VHUno) and Fox Sports (Fox Sports World Español) in the Los Angeles market. KSFV-LP, Channel 26, is part of World Television, which operates eight stations that focus on Hispanic and Asian programming in Los Angeles, Seattle, Phoenix and Tucson.

MTVS, VHUno and Fox Sports World Español are part of ICN’s Spanish-Language Cable package, a sampling of premiere Spanish-language channels available on cable television through AT&T Broadband and Adelphia. Channel 26 and ICN are providing LA’s Hispanic viewers with a special, free preview of Spanish-language programming that is otherwise not available to non-cable subscribers.

Programmers win because they gain greater exposure in their target market. Cable operators gain an important promotional tool.”

MTVS, which features the most popular Spanish-language music videos, will air for one hour, Monday-Friday at 6:00pm. Weekdays at 5:00pm and 11:00pm, the station will broadcast VHUno, which offers the best hour of Latin pop, Caribbean and tropical music videos. Fox Sports World Español will provide action-packed sports programming, including Fox’s “Sky Sports News” wrap-up, Monday-Saturday, 10:00-11:00pm.
