KSSE-FM Super Estrella Christmas Celebration In Los Angeles.

The last event of the year is here! LA’s KSSE 107.1 FM, Super Estrella is presenting a one of a kind Christmas event: Posada Super Estrella 2005. Joining the festivities this year will be reggaeton’s favorite Don Omar, Mexico’s king of the ballad Yahir along with the beautiful and talented Pilar Montenegro. The party will be held at The Grove of Anaheim on December 8th at 8:00pm, and it’s by invitation only.

Known as “El que todo lo pega” or “the hit-maker,” Don Omar’s first album released on a major label, “The Last Don,” went platinum. He currently holds the record of being the artist with the most singles serviced to radio at one time, regardless of genre, with 8 songs. Don Omar represents the depth and breadth of reggaeton and his hits include, “Pobre Diabla,” “Dale Don Dale,” “Reggaeton Latino,” and “Dile,” among many others. He recently remixed some of his hit songs in a compilation entitled “Da Hitman Presents,” with collaborations from Fabalous, Fat Joe, Jennifer Lopez, Tego Calderon, Swizz Beats, Hector “The Father,” and Nore. Don Omar is currently recording a new album for release in February on Machete Music.

When Yahir went to a casting call for “La Academia” he had no idea the turn that this reality show was going to give his life. Although it was thanks to the reality show that he was able to record his 1st album Yahir has always managed to stay on top of the charts. Today he returns with “Otra historia de amor” and its hit single “La Locura”. This album marks a new stage in the life of this ex La Academia student making him one of the most outstanding and best selling young artists in Mexico, selling over 250,000 copies of his new album.

The charismatic Pilar Montenegro returns once again demonstrating her versatility with a new all reggaeton album titled “Pilar Montenegro & Co. South Beach “. The 12 song album includes a reggaeton version of Juan Gabriel’s hit “Hasta que te conoci “ In order to obtain a top quality album some of the most important figures of the genre like Don Omar, Volt and Maestro were asked to participate.
